LIME PICKLE

Our take on this very popular accompaniment to any curry, especially our own Curry Kapitan. Made using fresh limes, red and green chillies garlic and ginger with mustard seed, salt, fenugreek, turmeric and curry leaves.   

 

   

FIG AND OLIVE CHUTNEY

Not sure where the inspiration for this one came but it is really very good! Two Mediterranean fruits  blended with port, fennel seed, fenugreek, clove, lemon and thyme. Try it with Lamb meatball / pattie recipes or soft goats cheese, either hot or cold 

 

   

APPLE AND MANGO CHUTNEY

In response to popular demand we have made a fruity Mango chutney with apple and ginger. A delicious traditional style chutney. Superb with curries 

   

THREE FRUIT & FIVE SPICE CHUTNEY

Chutney made from Apples, Pears and Plums flavoured with 5 spice. Delicious with duck and game and making use of locally grown produce

   

BEETROOT AND HORSERADISH RELISH

Wonderful deep 'purple' relish made from beetroot, green tomatoes, onion, horseradish and a hint of ginger. Use as you would regular horseradish but find "it's so much better". Already proving to be an instant success!!  

 

   

ACHAR

A Malay pickle with cucumber, carrot, cabbage, cauliflower, green beans, red and green chillies in a peanut based sauce.  Very good with cold roast Turkey! Traditionally served as an accompaniment with curry.

 

 

BRINJAL CHUTNEY

A rich chutney made from aubergine and red peppers with curry spices.  Great with strong cheeses cold cuts and grilled lamb

 

 

CARROT & PUMPKIN CHUTNEY

Sweet chutney made with carrot and pumpkin flavoured with star anise, cinnamon, cloves, dried chilli and fresh garlic. Great with cold meats and cheese also use to give a zing to coronation chicken mix.

 

 

CHILLI JAM

A sweet spiky relish made with tomatoes and fresh red chilli.  Try this as an alternative to ketchup with your sausage or burgers.  Also good with cheese and crackers.  I suppose there’s nothing to stop you having it on your toast for breakfast if you feel so inclined!

 

 

HOT APPLE CHUTNEY WITH GINGER & CORIANDER

Starts off like an traditional English Apple Chutney followed by a kick of Ginger and Coriander.  Delicious with cold meat and cheeses but also great with hot pork dishes in place of apple sauce.

 

 
KIWIFRUIT CHUTNEY
Made with locally grown New Forest Kiwifruit. This delicious zingy chutney has a good citrus flavour.  Works really well as an accompaniment to oily fish and game dishes.
 
 

PRETTY PICKLE

A summer chutney made with green beans and flavoured with turmeric, curry and yellow mustard seeds. A firm family favourite in cold roast turkey sandwiches and equally good with cheese.

 

 

SWEET ONION MARMALADE

A sweet sticky relish made with dark Muscovado Sugar, Balsamic vinegar and pungent spices. Work well with creamy goats cheese and livens a BBQ'd Sausage sandwich.
